An Unexpected Envelope

As the service ended and guests slowly began to leave, a young girl I had never seen before approached me. She looked nervous but determined. Without much explanation, she gently placed a small envelope into my hands and hurried away.

Inside was a brief letter written in Harold’s unmistakable handwriting. Alongside it was a small brass key.

In the note, Harold admitted he had carried a secret for many years. The truth, he wrote, was connected to a place called Garage 122. He asked me to open it only when I felt ready.

The message left me puzzled and full of questions.

The Garage That Held the Past

Later that evening, curiosity led me to the address Harold had mentioned. After locating Garage 122, I used the brass key to unlock the door.

At first glance, the space seemed ordinary. But in the middle of the room sat a large wooden box.

When I opened it, I discovered stacks of children’s drawings, handwritten letters, and old documents. Many of them mentioned a woman named Virginia.
