For several days, I couldn’t stop noticing something unusual outside my neighbor’s house.
Every time I walked past, the same long shapes were hanging in a neat row near the side of the building.
At first glance, they looked strange enough to catch my attention.
And once I noticed them, I couldn’t stop wondering what they were.
