The shopkeeper blinked, still trying to keep up.
“No… why?” he asked slowly.
The duck nodded thoughtfully, like he’d just confirmed something very important.
“Okay,” the duck said, tilting his head.
Then, without missing a beat:
“Got any grapes?”
The shopkeeper froze.
