Ordering a pizza after a long day is one of those simple comforts many people enjoy. You choose your favorite toppings, wait for the delivery, and expect the familiar sight of a warm pizza fresh from the oven.
That was exactly what I expected when my delivery arrived that evening.
The box was warm, the smell was inviting, and everything seemed completely normal. But when I opened the lid, I immediately noticed something unusual about the surface of the pizza.
The melted cheese looked different from what I was used to. Instead of a smooth layer, it had several small raised bubbles scattered across the top. They caught the light and made the pizza look strangely unfamiliar.
