After a heavy rain, I noticed something unusual in a water-filled ditch near the road. At first glance, I honestly couldn’t tell what I was looking at.
It moved slightly, and for a moment, I hesitated to even get closer.
I carefully caught it and placed it in a small jar so I could observe it better. The creature was long, segmented, and had thin tail-like extensions at the back. Its appearance was so unusual that my first thought was that it might be something harmful or unfamiliar.
Naturally, I decided to look into it.
