Melania’s New Film Faces Empty Theaters — Here’s How It’s Being Promoted

Melania Trump’s highly anticipated documentary, Melania, is set to hit cinemas across the U.S. on January 30—but early ticket sales suggest the buzz isn’t quite matching expectations. Despite former President Donald Trump promoting the film as a “MUST WATCH” on social media, reports show that audience interest is surprisingly low, sparking online jokes and speculation.

The documentary, produced by Melania’s own company and reportedly licensed by Amazon for around $40 million, aims to give viewers a glimpse into her day-to-day life, responsibilities, and experiences behind the public spotlight. Speaking to Fox last year, Melania described it as “incredibly busy” and a chance for people to see aspects of her life they “don’t really know.”

Originally scheduled for release in late 2025, the film’s premiere was moved up, and the White House hosted an in-house screening on January 25. Melania called it “a historic moment” on social media, praising the attendees for their unique contributions and celebrating the personal stories shared during the private event.
