A few nights ago, something unusual happened that completely changed how I view both my home and my role as a parent. Around 2 a.m., I heard my six-year-old daughter, Lily, speaking clearly in her sleep through the baby monitor. At first, I assumed it was normal sleep talking—but the words didn’t sound familiar. Curious, I recorded the sounds and ran them through a translation app the next day.
