The suspect reportedly fled the area in a white Tesla, but was located and apprehended about 30 minutes later in a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks. Police recovered the firearm and additional casings from the vehicle.
Damage and Safety
Bullet holes were found in a gate and an RV parked on the property. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. Rihanna was reportedly home at the time, but was unharmed.
LAPD officials have said further details, including booking information for the suspect, will be released following ongoing investigations.
The department continues to review evidence to determine the motive behind the attack.
