Remembering a Groundbreaking Woman Who Left a Lasting Legacy

Daphne Selfe, celebrated as the world’s oldest professional model, has passed away at the age of 97. Her death on March 21, 2026, confirmed via her Instagram account, marks the end of an extraordinary life that bridged generations of fashion, from postwar Britain to international runways and global campaigns.
