For a split second, there was silence.
Then the bartender blinked.
The woman on her right burst out laughing.
The man on her left nearly choked on his drink.
The bartender shook his head, grinning. “So those ‘two drops of water’…”
“…are just for decoration, dear,” she winked.
The laughter spread across the bar, drawing in even more passengers. Someone raised a glass and shouted, “To 80 years of wisdom!”
“To 80 years of doing it your way!” another added.
The old woman lifted her glass proudly. “And to knowing what you like—and not watering it down!”
The bartender chuckled and slid another glass her way. “This one’s on the house too.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Now that’s what I call good service.”
As the ship sailed on and the party grew louder, one thing was clear—
Turning 80 didn’t mean slowing down…
