The doctor stopped in the doorway, looked at the attorney frozen in place, and asked, “What on earth is going on here?”
Without missing a beat, the attorney snapped, “Can’t you see? I’m following the nurse’s instructions!”
The doctor raised an eyebrow.
“She told me not to move until she came back.”
