As a parent, it is easy to worry when you discover something unfamiliar in your child’s personal space.
That is exactly what happened when I noticed a small white stick sitting in the corner of my son’s bedroom. At first, I had no idea what it was, and my imagination quickly started filling in the gaps.
I wondered whether it could be something concerning or something I should know more about. Like many parents, my first instinct was to protect my child and make sure everything was okay.
