“You can’t go upstairs—the bathroom is right next to my parents’ room,” she replied. “Try the kitchen sink.”
A few minutes later, he popped his head around the door and asked, “Do you have a napkin, or should I just use a paper towel?”
2. Bud and Jim’s Foggy Night
Bud and Jim were two friends and aircraft mechanics in Sydney. One foggy night, all flights were grounded, and they were bored.
“I wish we had something to drink,” Bud said.
Jim grinned. “I heard you can have a sip of jet fuel and get a little buzz. Want to try?”
They poured a tiny amount, and the next morning, both felt surprisingly fine. No hangover, no side effects—just great!
Bud called Jim, “Hey, how are you feeling this morning?”
Jim laughed, “I feel amazing! And no hangover!”
“Me neither,” Bud replied.
Jim added with a chuckle, “Just one thing—if you need to… make a noise, be careful where you are. I’m in Melbourne!”
3. Meeting the Parents
A young man introduced his fiancée to his parents for the first time at dinner.
During the meal, a small, accidental sound occurred, and the father jokingly shouted, “Rocky!”
The fiancée giggled, relieved that the father blamed the family dog.
A few minutes later, it happened again, and the father exclaimed, “Rocky, be careful now!”
Finally, the fiancée laughed once more, and the father waved his hands, saying, “Rocky! Get out of there fast!”
The dinner continued with lots of laughter and lighthearted teasing.
