What began as a peaceful cultural trip through southern Spain quickly turned into a frightening experience one traveler says she will never forget.
Sofia Martinez, a 26-year-old visitor exploring a historic town in Andalusia, had traveled to Spain hoping to experience local traditions beyond the usual tourist attractions. She was especially interested in regional festivals known for music, dancing, and centuries-old customs that bring entire communities together.
The town she visited was filled with life from the early morning hours. Colorful banners stretched between buildings, musicians played in crowded streets, and local vendors sold handmade crafts and traditional foods.
