White House Responds After New Footage Shows Trump Speaking Unsteadily

Another week, another swirl of speculation about President Donald Trump and his health. Being POTUS means living under the microscope 24/7—and with Trump, the spotlight burns extra bright.

Approaching 80, it’s no surprise that every stumble, every pause, every visible bruise sparks online chatter. Observers have pointed to large bruises on his hands and moments where he seemed to nod off during meetings, fueling rumors that something about his health might be hidden from the public eye.

Yet, Trump keeps showing up, moving around with an energy that defies his age. Still, concerns intensified after his speech at the White House’s “Champion of Coal” event on Wednesday, February 11.

At the event, Trump signed an executive order directing the Department of War to purchase coal power, receiving a trophy for the occasion. During his speech, he praised coal workers:

“I’m thrilled to welcome to the White House the men and women who light our cities… You heat our homes, fuel our factories, and turn natural resources into American riches and dreams. Our amazing coal miners.”
