At first glance, the small object on the floor looked like nothing more than a bit of dust or debris. It was narrow, lightweight, and covered with tiny particles that made it easy to overlook. I almost swept it away without thinking.
But something about it seemed unusual.
Unlike ordinary household debris, the little tube appeared to have a deliberate structure. Tiny fibers and particles were attached to its surface, giving it the appearance of something carefully assembled rather than randomly dropped on the floor.
