I had planned an ordinary breakfast. Nothing complicated—just a couple of fried eggs and a quiet start to the morning.
Then I cracked one of the eggs into the pan and noticed something unusual.
A thin, pale strand was visible in the clear egg white. It looked different from the rest of the egg, almost like a small piece of string suspended beside the yolk.
For a moment, I stopped cooking.
