Mother Becomes Alarmed After Noticing Her Daughter’s Strange Daily Bathroom Routine
Every single afternoon, ten-year-old Emma followed the exact same pattern the moment she arrived home from school.
She would walk through the front door, drop her backpack near the entrance, and rush straight to the bathroom without saying much to anyone.
Then the door would lock.
And she would stay inside for a long time.
At first, her mother didn’t think much of it.
Children develop habits all the time. Some want snacks after school, others watch television, and some simply like showering before relaxing at home.
But as the days turned into weeks, Emma’s behavior became impossible to ignore.
The routine felt too exact.
Too secretive.
She no longer stopped to talk about school or even greet anyone properly before disappearing into the bathroom every afternoon.
Eventually, her mother gently asked the question that had been bothering her for days.
“Emma, why do you shower immediately after school every day?”
Her daughter answered calmly:
“I just like being clean.”
The response sounded simple enough.
But something about it didn’t feel natural.
Emma had never cared much about neatness before. She usually left clothes on the floor, forgot to brush her hair, and never worried about stains on her uniform.
Now suddenly, she seemed obsessed with washing the moment she got home.
And her answer sounded rehearsed.
The Drain That Revealed Something Strange
A few days later, another problem appeared inside the house.
The bathtub drain started clogging.
Water drained slowly, and strange gray residue began collecting near the pipes.
Assuming it was probably hair buildup, Emma’s mother decided to clean the drain herself.
She removed the cover, grabbed a plastic drain tool, and pushed it into the pipe.
At first, it moved normally.
Then suddenly, it caught on something.
She pulled carefully, expecting wet hair or soap residue.
Instead, a tangled clump of fabric emerged from the drain.
Confused, she rinsed it under running water.
That’s when she froze.
The material was light blue plaid.
It matched Emma’s school uniform skirt.
And there was something else.
A faded brown stain covered part of the fabric.
Her heart immediately started racing.
Clothing doesn’t accidentally end up shoved deep inside a bathtub drain.
Something was very wrong.
