A family in Jardim das Américas is grieving after a two-month-old baby died during an overnight emergency that remains under investigation by authorities.
Preliminary information indicates the infant had been with his father when the incident occurred. Reports say the father was extremely tired and had been holding the baby before falling asleep. Emergency services were later called to the home.
Responders from SAMU arrived at the residence, but the child could not be revived.
Police Are Reviewing What Happened
The Civil Police have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the baby’s death. At this stage, authorities have not announced a final conclusion about what happened.
