Concerns about nuclear conflict have grown in recent weeks following escalating tensions in the Middle East. The United States and Israel conducted coordinated military strikes on Iran on February 28, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran has since responded with missile and drone attacks on U.S. bases and other regional targets, while the situation continues to affect neighboring countries including Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Lebanon.
