American actress Rumer Willis, daughter of Hollywood icons Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is setting the record straight about her financial independence. At 38, the actress says she juggles four jobs simultaneously to provide for herself and her three-year-old daughter, pushing back against assumptions that she relies on her parents’ wealth.
On February 16, Willis took to Instagram Stories to speak candidly about single parenthood.
“I work four different jobs to provide for my daughter. I am the sole provider for [my three-year-old]. I don’t live off a trust fund or get money from my parents,” she wrote.
She also emphasized the challenges of parenting largely on her own:
“So how about y’all pause before you judge and assume.”
Motherhood and Hard Work
Willis welcomed daughter Louetta in 2023 with former partner, musician Derek Richard Thomas. She shared that while she appreciates the privileges she’s had, she does not financially rely on her famous parents and rarely receives help caring for her child.
