Eye-Opening Polls Reveal Americans’ Views on Trump’s Potential Second Term

Trump’s continued association with unresolved controversies, including alleged connections to the so-called Epstein files, also makes it hard for critics to view his popularity as surging. Still, Trump rarely concedes in public opinion. His confidence and political instincts often help him project control, even amid criticism.

Recent polling, however, offers a reality check. An AP-NORC survey shows that only about 40% of Americans approve of Trump’s job performance in his second term, while 59% disapprove. Approval across key policy areas mirrors this trend: economy (37% approve, 62% disapprove), immigration (38% approve, 61% disapprove), foreign policy (37% approve, 61% disapprove), trade (37% approve, 61% disapprove).

The data suggests that despite Trump’s claims of historic success, a majority of Americans remain unconvinced. He retains a loyal base and continues to dominate headlines, but the gap between his self-portrayed triumph and the public’s more critical assessment continues to define his presidency.
