Joe Rogan Responds After His Name Appears in Epstein Files

The recently released Epstein files have revealed a host of names, and among them was Joe Rogan, the comedian and world-famous podcaster. Now, Rogan has broken his silence, addressing the reports directly on his podcast.

Between 2025 and 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice made public millions of pages tied to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The documents detailed Epstein’s exploitation of young women, as well as interactions with high-profile figures. However, according to ABC News and internal FBI memos, investigators concluded that there was insufficient evidence to determine that Epstein ran a sex trafficking ring, though his abuse of minors was well documented.

Rogan tackled the headlines head-on on The Joe Rogan Experience earlier this week. The controversy stems from a 2017 email exchange between Epstein and Canadian physicist Lawrence Krauss. In the emails, Epstein asked Krauss for an introduction to Rogan, saying he found the comedian “funny.” Krauss replied that he would reach out. A later email noted that Rogan appeared uninterested in any meeting, describing him as “more timid than I would have thought.”

On the podcast, Rogan recounted the exchange:

“I am in the files for not going because Jeffrey Epstein was trying to meet with me,” he said. “It was not even a possibility that I would have ever went.”
