Nick Merrill, Clinton’s spokesperson, confirmed the session was temporarily suspended while officials investigated the source of the photo and potential rule violations.
Amid the disruption, Clinton called on President Donald Trump to testify under oath regarding his own ties to Epstein.
“If this Committee is serious about learning the truth about Epstein’s trafficking crimes, it should request answers directly from our current president under oath, rather than relying on press reports,” she said.
The pause in Clinton’s testimony has only intensified public attention on the hearings and the broader investigation into Epstein’s network of influence.
