Although widely associated with the British music scene of the 1960s, The Walker Brothers were actually formed by three American musicians. Gary Leeds joined forces with Scott Walker (born Scott Engel) and John Walker (born John Maus). The trio adopted the “Walker” surname to present themselves as a unified group.
