Trump Slams Obama, Biden, and Democrats in Fiery Midterm Speech
Former President Donald Trump stirred up controversy once again during a high-energy speech at the National Republican Congressional Committee’s fundraising dinner in Washington, D.C., on March 25. Speaking for over an hour, Trump called on Republicans to stay united as the party faces challenging midterm elections.
The event comes as Republicans fight to maintain or expand their narrow 218-214 majority in the House. Trump energized the crowd with his signature slogans:
“We will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again, and most importantly, we will make America great again. Thank you very much Republicans, go out and win the midterms!”

But the speech quickly turned toward familiar political targets. Trump criticized former President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden, labeling Obama “terrible” but reserving his harshest words for Biden, whom he called the “worst president in history.”
“If you go back to Obama, he was a great divider. He divided this nation. He was a lousy president. The worst president in history was Biden. But Obama was a terrible president,” Trump declared.
He also went after Democrats more broadly, claiming the party has failed the country:
